1st June....Rain...setting out the upper platform...building up the level
towards the driveway..and marking out the curved bank...

2nd June...Upper platform ready for concrete..showing curved bank's hight
and shape...timber forms the corner..and a good long run up to nail your
first rail....

3rd June..Despite the rain the setting out of the driveway side levels continue...assorted
edges..and laying out the coping.....

4th June.. Retaining Wall finished to the hip corner..another level ready
to fill.. and rolling the upper platform...

5th June..Back filling and rolling the hip corner..the first signs of the
spine fill..driveway side layout getting clearer..the best run up to a stair
set Glasgow has ever seen... and another birds eye view...

7th June..Hip corner filled...ready for marking out...and the attention to
detail on the finished upper platform....

8th June..The position of the step up and hubba ledge can be seen now this
level is poured...and the A team fill..stir.. and level the hip platform...it's
a well oiled machine....

9th June..Steel pegs are driven into the workings and the coping is welded
into place..The spine gets a little higher..Excavating the curved bank..And
the completed hip platform...

10th June....Foundations for the curved corner.. ...the second combination
set and a big overview ....note the gathering water on the right...this will
run free when that edge is finished...

11th June..The bank to corner has to support the driveway level so lots of
reinforcement..and it's all downhill from here...

12th June..Excavating the main set...and the spine gets another top up...

14th June..A bit late with the update today...an early morning skate demo..still
it went well...now..where was I...Todays pics show the slow process of forming
the reinforcement steel...and Div gets ready to skate with Tony Hawk...no
really..!!

15th June...Foundation for inner block at curved set.. steel for the main
sets hubba's.. and the joiners handywork...

16th June..The timber boxes form moulds for the ledges and hold the steel
grind edges in place as the concrete is poured in...the other pics show lots
more steelwork....

17th June..Shuttering the curved set inner block...the first hubba with steel
edges in place..and an overview..

18th June..The spine rises..the inner block is poured and edged...the driveway
saddle will be a bank to wall on this side..and a full overview..I missed
a corner yesterday...A big thanks to the boys for making me welcome on site
every day...

19th June..Shuttering the driveway saddle...The skill of the machine operator
in fine tuning the transitions is truely impressive..and look Charlie...it's
your Dad...

23rd June..Scottish summer..a fantastic day yesterday..a shit day today...still
the bowl side ledges see the light of day...and the spine gets it's coping...

24th June..Despite the rain the work continues..shuttering the last ledge..the
first flat bank.. and the transition steel...

25th June..More timber work..starting the stairs..fixing the steel edge..and
even though you don't see it the mesh has to be right...

26th June.. Overcast..a dull day..yet more timber..and fine tuning the junction
between flat bank and transition...

28th June.. The first step..the first flat bank..steel in place for the second
bank..and working the level on the last side...

29th June...The first flat bank..the last ledge..filling the second bank..the
driveway top..the first section of the curved wall..and altering the bowl
base..

30th June..The change in the weather over the last few days brings it's own
problems..but still there is progress every day..yesterdays wet concrete is
todays flat bank..and the curved corner gets it's ledge....another fantastic
months work..well done boys...
